首先,先導壓力作為驅動力,力可以很均勻地分布在壓力控制部件上(比如膜片),而彈簧調壓那樣通過彈簧施加力在控制部件上,應力就比較集中,這樣膜片就無法做到很大,而我們知道膜片越大對壓力的感應就越靈敏,膜片越大閥體就能做到越大,進而口徑越大,因此流量也越大。所以氣控減壓閥往往能實現更大的流量和更高的精密度。
其次,一路先導壓力通過分路可以控制多個氣控減壓閥,可實現批量控制,或者說是為并聯安裝的減壓閥調節提供了方便。需要調節壓力時只需調節先導氣源壓力,不必像彈簧調壓的減壓閥那樣逐個手動調節,大大提高了工作效率。

諾冠氣控減壓閥氣控減壓閥可實現遠程控制,因此氣控減壓閥也叫遠程控制減壓閥。因為控制端(先導壓力控制裝置)和受控端(氣控減壓閥)可以不安裝在一起,并且可以隔開很遠的距離,這樣也起到了保護操作者安全的作用,操作者不用到安裝于危險環境的氣控減壓閥門前去調節壓力。zui后,氣控減壓閥與比例閥搭配使用時能實現電信號控制出口壓力的功能,流量較小的比例閥出口壓力控制了流量很大的減壓閥出口壓力,因此我們也經常稱氣控減壓閥為流量放大器或氣體體積放大器(volume booster)。我們都知道比例閥的流量是比較小的,往往滿足不了生產需要,但是比例閥和流量放大器搭配使用時就解決了這樣的問題:既用電信號控制了出口壓力,又實現了大流量。當然,氣控減壓閥的優點還有很多,在實際應用中可靈活使用,實現許多普通減壓閥無法實現的功能。
