影響鉛酸蓄電池壽命的因素
鉛酸蓄電池的失效是許多因素綜合的結果，既決定于極板的內(nèi)在因素，諸如活性物質(zhì)的組成。晶型、孔隙率、極板尺寸、板柵材料和結構等，也取決于一系列外在因素，如放電電流密度、電解液濃度和溫度、放電深度、維護狀況和貯存時間等。這里介紹主要的外部因素。
1、放電深度
放電深度即使用過程中放電到何程度開始停止。100％深度指放出全部容量。鉛酸蓄電池壽命受放電深度影響很大。設計考慮的重點就是深循環(huán)使用、淺循環(huán)使用還是浮充使用。若把淺循環(huán)使用的電池用于深循環(huán)使用時，則鉛酸蓄電池會很快失效。
因為正極活性物質(zhì)二氧化鉛本身的互相結合不牢，放電時生成硫酸鉛，充電時又恢復為二氧化鉛，硫酸鉛的摩爾體積比氧化鉛大，則放電時活性物質(zhì)體積膨脹。若一摩爾氧化鉛轉化為一摩爾硫酸鉛，體積增加95％。這樣反復收縮和膨脹，就使二氧化鉛粒子之間的相互結合逐漸松弛，易于脫落。若一摩爾二氧化鉛的活性物質(zhì)只有20％放電，則收縮、膨脹的程度就大大降低，結合力破壞變緩慢，因此，放電深度越深，其循環(huán)壽命越短。
