UPS是不連續(xù)電源(uninterruptiblepowersystem)是可以提供持續(xù)、穩(wěn)定、不連續(xù)的電源供給的重要外部設(shè)備。UPS按工作原理分紅后備式、在線式與在線互動(dòng)式三大類。UPS電源相似一臺(tái)這樣的機(jī)器,它在市電中止供給的時(shí)分,能堅(jiān)持一段供電時(shí)間,使人們有時(shí)間存盤,再沉著地關(guān)閉機(jī)器。
電源冗余普通能夠采取的計(jì)劃有容量冗余、冗余冷備份、并聯(lián)均流的N+1備份、冗余熱備份等方式。容量冗余是指電源的zui大負(fù)載才能大于實(shí)踐負(fù)載,這對(duì)進(jìn)步牢靠性意義不大。
冗余冷備份是指電源由多個(gè)功用相同的模塊組成,正常時(shí)由其中一個(gè)供電,當(dāng)其毛病時(shí),備份模塊立即啟動(dòng)投入工作。這種方式的缺陷是電源切換存在時(shí)間距離,容易形成電壓豁口。
并聯(lián)均流的N+1備份方式是指電源由多個(gè)相同單元組成,各單元經(jīng)過(guò)或門二極管并聯(lián)在一同,由各單元同時(shí)向設(shè)備供電。這種計(jì)劃在1個(gè)電源毛病時(shí)不會(huì)影響負(fù)載供電,但負(fù)載端短路時(shí)容易涉及一切單元。冗余熱備份是指電源由多個(gè)單元組成,并且同時(shí)工作,但只由其中一個(gè)向設(shè)備供電,其他空載。主電源毛病時(shí)備份電源能夠立刻投入,輸出電壓動(dòng)搖很小。
關(guān)于一些需求長(zhǎng)時(shí)間不連續(xù)操作、高牢靠的系統(tǒng),如基站通訊設(shè)備、*設(shè)備、效勞器等,常常需求高牢靠的電源供給。冗余電源設(shè)計(jì)是其中的關(guān)鍵局部,在高可用系統(tǒng)中起著重要作用。冗余電源普通配置2個(gè)以上電源。當(dāng)1個(gè)電源呈現(xiàn)毛病時(shí),其他電源能夠立即投入,不中綴設(shè)備的正常運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)。這相似于UPS電源的工作原理:當(dāng)市電斷電時(shí)由電池頂替供電。冗余電源與UPS的區(qū)別主要是由不同的電源同時(shí)供電,而UPS則是一個(gè)電源供電另一個(gè)則隨時(shí)備用,有需求時(shí)自動(dòng)切換。
傳統(tǒng)冗余電源接法
傳統(tǒng)的冗余電源設(shè)計(jì)計(jì)劃是由2個(gè)或多個(gè)電源通過(guò)火別銜接二極管陽(yáng)極,以“或門”的方式并聯(lián)輸出至電源總線上。如圖1所示。能夠讓1個(gè)電源單獨(dú)工作,也能夠讓多個(gè)電源同時(shí)工作。當(dāng)其中1個(gè)電源呈現(xiàn)毛病時(shí),由于二極管的單導(dǎo)游通特性,不會(huì)影響電源總線的輸出。
在實(shí)踐的冗余電源系統(tǒng)中,普通電流都比擬大,可達(dá)幾十A。思索到二極管自身的功耗,普通選用壓降較低、電流較大的肖特基二極管,比方SR1620~SR1660(額定電流16A)。通常這些二極管上還需求裝置散熱片,以利于散熱。
運(yùn)用二極管的傳統(tǒng)計(jì)劃電路簡(jiǎn)單,但有其固有的缺陷:功耗大、發(fā)熱嚴(yán)重、需加裝散熱片、占用體積大。由于電路中通常為大電流,二極管大局部時(shí)間處于前導(dǎo)游通形式,它的壓降所惹起的功耗不容無(wú)視。zui小壓降的肖特基二極管也有0.45V,在大電流時(shí),例如12A,就有5W的功耗,因而要特別處置散熱問(wèn)題。
如今新的冗余電源計(jì)劃是采用大功率的MOSFET管來(lái)替代傳統(tǒng)電路中的二極管。MOSFET的導(dǎo)通內(nèi)阻能夠到幾mΩ,大大降低了壓降損耗。在大功率應(yīng)用中,不只完成了效率更高的處理計(jì)劃,而且由于無(wú)需節(jié)散熱器,所以省了大量的電路板面積,也減少了設(shè)備的散熱源。應(yīng)用電路中MOSFET需求有專業(yè)芯片的控制。目前,TI、Linear等各大公司都推出了一些成熟的該類芯片。

Where conventional VRLA AGM batteries struggle to cope with harsh conditions,
remote locations and frequent power outages, the combination of EON and TPPL
technologies makes PowerSafe SBS 2V and 12V batteries the perfect solution for the
challenging operating conditions of today’s ecommunication networks.
With the introduction of the SBS 410 cell, the PowerSafe SBS EON Technology battery
range is now available in two con?gurations: the front terminal design that allows for
maximum back-up power within a given cabinet installation, and the top terminal
design typically used for open rack installations.
