本裝置具有滅火停止試驗、及自動清洗功能；控制臺電路部分與氣路部分獨立箱體，當氣路發生泄露時，不會發生爆炸危險。

本試驗設備系統要求試驗室具有足夠大的平面和立體空間，用于該設備的安放和試驗。

電線電纜成束燃燒試驗裝置主要組成如下：

※ 帶提升梯架裝置的成束燃燒試驗箱主體；

※ 具有兩路供氣系統、箱體溫度監測和時間控制的控制柜；

※ 一套具有四層過濾的除塵和排煙系統；

※ 兩個安裝在小車上的標準帶型燃燒器（帶文丘里混和器）；

※ 兩個燃燒梯架（一個標準梯架和一個寬梯架）；

※ 一套測定箱體內空氣流量用的風速計組成；

1、  標準帶型噴燈的火焰溫度和強度經國家計量部門測定與IEC標準推薦的美國AGF公司的燃燒噴燈**。
