Kamiya Biomedicals was founded in 1983 in Thousand Oaks, California (USA). From the beginning it was the aim of Kamiya Biomedicals to develop and produce innovative tools for research in Life Sciences and diagnostics in the preclinical area. In fact, in 1990 Kamiya Biomedicals was the first company to introduce monoclonal anti-Fas antibodies on the American market. Even though Kamiya Biomedicals portfolio has been expanded to include assays for preclinical diagnostics, enzyme substrates and inhibitors, the focus is still on the development and production of especially high-quality antibodies. Currently, the headquarters of the company is in Seattle, Washington (USA).
